Background Check

You'll need to complete a criminal background check. PineView Care will coordinate this process.

Government-issued photo ID proving you're 18 years or older.

Training Completion

Completion of required caregiver training (PineView Care provides this).

Relationship Documentation

Proof of relationship to the care recipient if applicable.

Ongoing Documentation Requirements

Once enrolled, certain documentation must be maintained and updated regularly:

Care Plan Reviews: Periodic assessments to ensure care needs are being met (typically every 6-12 months)
Timesheet Documentation: Accurate records of care hours provided (caregivers must submit timesheets)
Annual Re-certification: MaineCare eligibility must be renewed annually with updated income/asset information
